Episode 355

This week I got to listen to the episode as a listener instead of hosting, since I was out on PTO. It’s always fun when I’m out and the guys record without me. I’ve been at the majority of our recordings other than maybe a dozen or so I’ve missed over the years.

When I get to listen as a fan, it’s humbling. I hear everything that’s working, everything that isn’t, and I always come away with new ideas. But I’m also just really happy with the show. I know we’re 355 episodes in, but man, it feels like yesterday we started this. In a lot of ways I still feel like we haven’t “made it.” Then I’ll be at a conference and someone mentions they’ve heard the show or that they listen every week, and it gets me every time.

We’ve got a dedicated audience, and honestly it’s broader than I ever realized. I’ve talked to salespeople, recruiters, folks breaking into cloud, even stock analysts who listen to keep a pulse on the industry. Whoever you are, I’m glad you spend the time with us each week talking about this crazy cloud world.
