A weekly podcast on cloud architecture, AI/ML, cost optimization, AWS, GCP, Azure, and Kubernetes. I'm the host and co-founder.
I started The Cloud Pod in December 2018 with Jonathan Baker and Peter Roosakos. Peter has since moved on; these days I host it with Jonathan Baker, Ryan Lucas, and Matthew Kohn. 370+ episodes in, it's still a weekly conversation about what's actually changing in cloud.
The part I value most is the timing. Covering the industry every week gives you visibility into trends, pricing shifts, and platform capabilities 12–18 months ahead of mainstream adoption. That intelligence feeds directly back into my day job — it informs technology strategy, vendor negotiations, and build-vs-buy decisions.
Every week the hosts also write a short section in the Cloud Host Dispatch — a roundup of what we each took away from the episode. I republish my own section here, in full, alongside links back to the episode.
